Veterinary medicine abroad: what are the requirements for admission and how is the course of study structured
The latest European regulations have made it easier for students from the various countries of the Union to exchange. To access the Veterinary course in a foreign university will suffice:
- Be in possession of a qualification that allows enrolment in a university class (secondary school diploma or equivalent qualification);
- Pass any tests and/or individual assessment interviews if required by the chosen European university.
If you meet these requirements, you can proceed with the registration process to the degree course in Veterinary Medicine. Compared to Italy, these degree courses, while maintaining the necessary theoretical basis in the main scientific and medical subjects, are increasingly based on the practical side to allow a vocational training that leaves you better prepared for entering the world of work.
